So sorry for your loss. Something brought me to this site tonite (haven't been on for a couple months) and I too, have needed recent reassurance about a loved one who has passed. I am not so much a religous person, but am a student of the spirtual side of things, God, and how we all fit in. I recently picked up a book at the library by one of my favorite authors

Neale Donald Walsch - (just happened to see it, when I needed it)....

Home with God : in a life that never ends : a wondrous message of love in a final conversation with God . It really put things in perspective for me and gave me the peace I craved.

I first got into this author's books with the -Conversations With God -series. And like I said, I am not a big religious person. These writings are more spiritually "out of the box" and I really am so grateful that that I've read them. Sounds like I'm a book promoter Huh? I'm not. Just a person who knows there is much more to this life than we see. I get comfort from coming to my own beliefs about God and who I am. I could go on and on about what I believe, maybe you can get your answers through reading the same. Take Care! p.s. If you should read, post back, would love to hear what you thought--good or bad.

it's been a while since I checked back to this forum, THANK YOU for all the great comments and ideas. I hope to impliment a lot of them in the future- I know I/we tend to get sidetracked, but must make that effort, right? :] I'm happy to report that my attitude about stuff has been more positive since I last wrote, I am trying to be nicer to myself, not so judgemental, and clearing my mind with frequent walks. I tend to want it all "right now" so I am reminding myself to take baby steps. Keep in touch!

New member to the site, it's really cool. I too am a Virgo who is facing many difficulties. I am trying to remember when I haven't though? My problem is that I am in a rut. I have tried so hard to stay in a spiritual state of mind. At times I am able to feel my higher powers inspiration coming through, but I loose it quickly and end back in the rut of everyday negativities. I am very critical of myself, so it's very hard feeling as if I'm stuck. My soul tells me I must have faith, I want it! I just can't seem to keep it or even find it.

(side note- to Sabel31 ) I am subject to depression and have just come out of a really bad mental state through the help of anti-depressents. Not saying its for everyone, but it did help me. I know how you are feeling, but It just may be a brain chemical thing, hang in there!!!

Anyway, any advice as to how I might get in touch with my higher self? I really need to make some changes and move on. Thanks all.
