No worries, Flowsco... I put it all together in hindsight after I found the candy. In fact, I considered LIbra, because I was born in October and Libra takes up most of the month, so I was close to piecing it together, but I don't usually follow the monthly zodiac. Alas! It's all good!!!

Wow! I guess this is a real illustration for how differently us humans process information.

Yesterday's clue I got right off the bat (pun!). It was literal, and I was a little surprised by the confusion. Which is why I wasn't led into thinking gemmygirl's post was a clue. One, she didn't say it was, and two, it was way too broad.

TODAY however! hehe. I saw your clue when it came up after midnight. I did all sorts of things--I went to the "center" of menus. I thought, "Well, Halloween in the center of attention... huh?" lol Then I had to give up knowing the thread would grow with more hints and then I went to sleep. Then I wake to see plenty of people saying they got it right away! Doh!

Shows how differently we all perceive things, eh?

Thank you, everybody for the help. I meticulously clicked through the whole top menu (which gets tedious since many menu options are redundant and some disappear). By the time I got here, I was no longer in the mood (nor had the time) to keep clicking around. Purplequeen held my hand just that little bit more. When I found the most likely place, I just browsed around a little.

Did they have candy hunt last year? In the past 2 years, they've been revamping how they do things (I miss my annual birthday coins, heh, but the free reading is cool, so no complaints!). I seem to remember no candy hunt last year. maybe they realized they cut off a good thing and brought it back due to demand, but not the whole month so they don't give away too many freebies, killing their business.

I won't be able to answer, but I will read replies. Thanks, peeps! I will keep an eye on the topic in the following days.
