Thank you for the reading 🙂

I'm absorbing at the moment, so hesitant to elaborate to any great extent lol But I will say this - though i was hoping to hear something a little different, you've sort of (ok, just about completely) confirmed the gut feeling I had. Imagine that - a Taurus hoping to be wrong?! lol 😉

    • RE: Help with Taurus man

what happened in my case really had as much to do with being young and dumb as any personailty / character traits. So we'll skip that story lol 😉 But...

As a Taurus I can tell you this - I dont have much problem communicating my thoughts or opinions on any subject. I do however, have issues putting words to feelings. I think its basically for 2 reasons - 1. putting my feelings out there on a verbal level makes me feel incredibly vulnerable, which i am REALLY not ok with. and 2. My verbal style tends to be "to the point" in general and is often taken as my being brash when its not my intent. thats fine on regular stuff. however, when it comes to feelings it keeps me from feeling like I have words that do justice to whats inside my heart. I really have to feel incredibly "safe" with a person to even attempt it. Instead i tend to show my feelings thru action.

I cant say for sure, but its my experience that (for whatever reason?) scorpios are as, if not more so, reluctant to speak the "stuff that matters" as well. so basically... its another one of the simularities between the two opposite signs.

like wise, I'm recently finding that a lot of the time though a scorpio and tuarean may be saying exactly the same thing... our way of saying it (approach) is so polar opposite that if you werent paying close attention you'd think it was complete disagreement. I actually find that intrigueing. lol But again, a little frustrating at times because it makes the other hard to understand w/out effort.

That said, yeah... i think its entirely possible your taurus is completely confused by you (and vice versa). its a tricky dance I think, but somebody has got to start laying cards down... maybe just not all at once.

    • RE: Dream Interpretation anyone? 1 time dream haunted me for yrs.

ya know, I usually dont have much trouble interpreting my own dreams... but on this one I never made the connection and really felt like i needed to. The "haunting" was equally so just because visually the dream was so beautiful. I've often thought i should sketch / paint the scene and have never got aorund to it. (to buisy w/ that rat race you mentioned lol)

In short, what you said is absolutely true for me. The odd thing is - its true for me at this point in my life and im aware of it. However, when i had the dream... i dont think the thought had ever conciously touched my mind. But, it did linger 🙂

Thanks for the insight and outside perspective. Apparently its what I needed.

    • Dream Interpretation anyone? 1 time dream haunted me for yrs.

I dont know if anyone here does dream interpretation or not? But if so I would love someone's take on this particular dream. If not, a referral to a forum would be much appreciated. (i've tried google to no avail)

Here'sTHE STORY: I had a dream years ago that was not only extremely vivid (and odd) when i woke from it but continues to be years later. The dream has never repeated its self, but it conitnues to come to mind from time to time and triggers the same " there's something to it" response it originally did. I find that , in and of its self, odd.

THE DREAM: I am driving down the road. I'm by myself. I dont feel like i'm trying to get anywhere, i'm just enjoying the drive and clearing my head. I've got an inner peace. The car i'm driving isnt really a part of the dream, just the view beyond it - faded asphalt road, bright yellow broken divider line> there's no traffic and no sign of civilization. Just me and the open road. I look out the window to my left and see rolling hills covered in golden wheat grass swaying in the breeze. it's kind of beautiful. the land directly to the side of the road is mostly flat, but there are mountains covered in the same in the distance... overlapping. The sky is the clearest blue, not a cloud to be seen. As my eye travels upward I see hot air balloons. They're canvas is striped in varying color combinations: red &blue, orange and green, yellow and purple... theres too many to count in my mind but they're all very colorful. They dont have baskets however, they have cars attached. They're 1950's (?) model cars (all exactly the same) all primer grey... no trim, windows etc. just the bodies. They're not falling but gently decending from the sky attached to these hot air balloons. most are at a distance, a few are closer. They're all floating down at the same speed but are at different points os descension... like they weren't lowered simultaneously. I stop my car and get out. As i cross the opposite lane and into the field i'm filled with awe and curiousity. One of these cars lands gently as i'm approaching it into the field. The balloons falls to the side and slowly deflates. I walk up to the car not knowing what to expect and when I look inside there is a marionette on the seat. One of the old wooden puppets in a black and white tux, red lips in a smile, cherry cheeks, strings attached just laying there. In the dream, without moving i see other cars begin to land around me and i know (without appraoching them) that they are all exactly the same. I'm filled with wonder "what is this?" and then i wake.

    • RE: Help with Taurus man

Im a Taurus woman, and one of my first relationships was with a Scorpio man, ( so gender wise just the opposite of your scenario / situation) That said, I think you've been given some great advice and i dont in any way want to detract from that, but I had some thoughts based on your initial posting when I read it.

First of all what you have to understand about this combo are the things that are ALIKE. Both are extremely fixed signs, guarded, powerful, and well... pride runneth over. While Taureans arent "manipulative" persay... when it comes to our hearts (or pride) we will take poker face to new extremes. Especially if we feel we are in danger of being wounded - or to hide the fact we have been. To me, it seems thats whats up with this guy.

Whether you can both manage to lay your cards on the table and work it out or not... I cant say, but I do think thats the only way any type of relationship (even friendship) is possible.

    • RE: Do you think Taurus people are "hard to please"?

I'm so glad I came back to this thread 🙂 (and the forum) I just read thru this and thought "OMG I have found people from my planet!" lol 😛 Such great posts... I could relate to just about all.

In particular - That "walking contradiction" thing... pfft, I've been saying that for years. (because its true) I'm soft hearted but hard headed. I'm blunt, brash, even harsh at times but it really doesnt come from a bad place. Really... the list goes on and on... lol

Also, yes - I do have gemini in my chart. (moon in Gemini) how'd you guess? lol But I dont have doormat syndrome at all. instead i think the gemini tends to manifest as my constantly being at odds with myself.

    • RE: How can you find out your birth time?

i guess i could call the hospital i was born at... but im 30 yrs old. i sorta figured they wouldnt have records that far back lol 😛

Seriously though, I'm thinking one of my aunts would know / remember an approximate time of day ( early morning, middle of the night, mid afternoon kind of recollection) but how does that kind of time frame work? I mean does / can a few hours difference make that big a difference on the placement of the planets ? and which are effected (or undeterminable) without birth time?

    • RE: Do you think Taurus people are "hard to please"?

No issues with my feet lol but my aquarius man has serious foot issues - not like they're medically bad in a some way he's just extremely sensitive , to the point of being paranoid about his precious toes when they'r enot in shoes lol i doubt this has anythign to do with his sign, he's just a weirdo lol 😛

I wonder , after reading the posts here, if avoiding conrontation is a normal or common taurus trait? I have to say I dont have it if so. On the contrary i love debate (b/c its a chance to be right lol) and will often start or elongate minor arguments just for the heck of it. lol this isnt one of my proudest traits but its definite true none- the-less and i have litterally always been that way. Those closest to me say i'll disagree just to do it... but i dont see it that way (though i get why they do).

To the poster with the Taurus hubby - I cant speak for anyone else but i will say that i do tend to be bossy. the truth is, i just have a hard time trusting / waiting on someone else to take the lead. secretly though, i really dont want the world to be submissive or bend to my will... i want someone tough and strong enough to take the reigns but this is one of the only ways i know of testing the worthiness of another. It sounds like your hubby met his match in you... and thats what this taurus requires. if someone actlly bends i find them weak and no longer attractive... so this coud be a part of why you two work in your own way 😉
