PoeticMagic-- the colors used in feng shui are associated with the elemental expression;ie like fire is the element and therefore reds/oranges and even blue is its association--if in feng shui you throw the bagua or Pa Kua then the colors are associated with the gua-same as with eight mansions. Astrological calculations in feng shui are numerical; ie the Nine-star method or the Flying Star practices. The colors are not a calculation and therefore are not used except as a balancing method. Simple yin/yang. Each color does have a measurement and that is then what we call the shade; it is this shade of that color that depicts its yinness or yangness. pfree--examples of positivity...uuhmm I do it so naturally now it is interesting to express just how...and to lovinmylife--I hope you are reading this also it may help with the clarity. Last evening my husband called to check in and let me know what was up/ I could hear that hesitation in his voice(I use active listening/do not do two things at once) multitasking is a whole different subject --so I asked him what is right? vs what's wrong? Of course he let me know that shipments and delays were not on schedule and it would affect his pay directly. I asked if he had done everything that he could do-a quick yes reply-then I asked why he was not accepting the path that our maker wanted him to take and had he prayed about it and had he let the nagativity go yet? yes nag is want I meant He said well no He was calling me to let me know how "bad" it was going to be...I told him that if he believed it was going to be that bad then it would be but if he believed it was happening to help him learn something and he was allowing this to "drag" him down thaen it would...thanks and later...he called back in about two hours and had a different 'attitude'--he had implemented the positve thoughts by accepting and believing there was a good reason . He was then able to go to sleep with peace. This noon I called to check in and he informed me that the situation had completely changed and there was a $2oo. increase directly in his pay alone due to the new freight and shipments when the snaffoo was worked out. When I come into contact with a situation that "feels" so negative that I start to change/modify my thoughts/words before I allow this to effect my actions--I step back and de-personalize the situation to get a clear perespective just this simple act of stopping the nagativity is how I find I am stronger than I think I am and I always am grateful and appreciative to my maker(s) AND TELL THEM and I am not saying it is easier in fact "ignorance is bliss" is something THAT TENDS to trip me up. I have realized negativity is brought into my life to help me with whatever it is that I need help with and I thank the universe for allowing me to even experience this enlightenment. Finding the positive is a better way for me and I have/do witness it in others. The yin and yang of life the balance is why I choose positivity...because there is an excess of negativity in our world. Hint one must know thyself and have the courage to be real. Pfree thank you for the candid and open response. work in progress seems to be another way to state we are on our journey--somehow being on our journey of life is a positive motto and work is a task or something that is dreaded to move forward(progress). I know it is a minor point but this is exactly the small and minor point that is involved in the choice of choosing positvity. Simply stated if we a race can implement positive thoughts than we as a race can become less negative in our actions and deeds Finding Peace in ourselves is neccessary if we are to find peace in the world. If I choose negative...then I am speading negative and No Human wills can erase/repair the negative that I spread. So I choose the positive and know that this is a correct path because of the peace and even more when that which I am is challenged/confronted. I send to you clarity and less burdensome life. If you can find a better way to deal with anything is a postive action which comes from thinking about resolving the issue by using the positivity that the issue holds and that is being the change that you want to see in the world, no less diffucult and most of the time happy is not part of the end result...Peace is. Although I do not share your same choice of religion I agree and this is something that does affect all of us irregardless of the"religionFactor" To know that your creator has given you a purpose and it must be fulfilled is an awesome gift that all of us have but few accept. Lunartic thanks and wow sounds like a younger kindred spirit of myself You did become the change you wanted to see in the world, it is a journey not a task, and even though you have the"media" version of postive thinking filter in place...you used positive thinking about yourself and realized that you had to choose to deal with the baggage/negativity in an uplifting manner FYI I now enjoy being called weird or strange or any of the terms some use to dispel the light and it helps me to know that I am on the right path and that my purpose is real and true. lovinmylife--thanks for the response I validate your point of unrealistic positivism and some year ago I asked and answered that same line of doubt. The positive in death is rebirth. When we are not willing to let go we are usually being selfish. And FYI I have worked with death for over 40 yrs I was the person that took care of my own parents as they took ill and passed and also my in-laws and members of my family and marital family including 2 of my own children It was my faith and positiveness that got me through--being positive is not not dealing with the negative it is a choice of the way to deal with it.
