"taking him back" in your life in any shape or form is a mistake. I was not talking romantically. You need to set some limitations and rules. He needs to understand that he can still see his kids if he wants, he is the father, BUT he needs to live his life and you need to live yours. Separately. I am glad to hear that things are getting better.

You don't have to be there for him phoenix. he does have other options , there are always other options. He made his bed let him ,lay in it. Move on with your life. Your goals can be achieved but he will hinder your progress if you allow him to. You have the power to get him out of your life if you want to. It is all up to you.
