RE: Being empathic
I feel that being an empath presents various trials and tribs throughout any phase of any day. However lately, I have had no inclination to go out and experience others. I am also prone to "see through" certain types of phone calls. Like, I am on a dating website, and over the past 48 hours, have received more contact requests than I ever have before in three years. However, I cannot tolerate any of the conversation topics they are presenting. Sex, Sex, Sex.. no Hello, how are you, what are you interested in... I am glad I am staying to myself these past few days.. I guess this is Venus in Pisces? Poor little fishey .. no, poor Venus. There is so much more to life.
RE: Compatibility analysis
Thank you Captain! I benefitted from reading about the Cancer and Scorpio with Gemini in Scarsandstars' reading. I have a Scorpio moon, and can relate well to the keeping of secrets in a relationship as well as the Cancer man i had to break it off with due to my perception that (his self preservation) he was just needing my ability to produce income for paying all of his accumulated debts as the sole reason for his obsession with making me part of his life to the extent that he did. Had I understood that self preservation was the order of the day in his sign, I may have understood and overlooked that, realizing that it wouldn't have gone that far. hmmm I also had a Gemini mother who was a twin, and worked for a group of 16 Gemini physicians once. I loved them. I am a Pisces/Sag Sorpio moon with Venus in Aries in my fourth house.. Gemini in seventh. I remain independent but experiencing many relationships.. by choice.
So this rendition you gave was very helpful in my own understanding of how some things work. Appreciateive.. S~
RE: All Things Pisces
That was an awesome post! But in reference to your attraction to fire signs, you are not alone there. I have the same "problem", although I think it can be a blessing if you are careful. Maybe you also have a fire sign rising - as I do. Rising signs will say more about who you really are, i think, than the sun sign. I was married to an Aries, and many of my greatest relationships have been with Leos - and Aries people of both genders. On dating air and earth signs, I find personally too many incompatibilities even though I have tried. I have a Sagittarius rising sign.
RE: Witnessing the death of a loved one in my dream could some one PLS interpret
I had a similar dream many years ago about my son being immersed in the ocean, and he was on the other side of a very heavy door with a glass window in it. My daughter and I had journeyed down a path through the field and the woods and then we stepped into a stream that suddenly became an ocean washing all of us down through the ocean and through that door into a white room. We pushed the door shut to keep the ocean out. I didn't know my son had followed us. I see my son swimming with his eyes bulging and holding his breath and I couldn't get the door open for the pressure was too high. My son pointed and put his hands on the glass as I struggled to open the door, but then he looked down and shook his head "No", and pointed to all the other fish and indicated he wanted to stay there. He made me understand that he would not come through the door even if I did get it open. He swam back away saying (telepathically), I like it in here.
I was also very scared and sad when I woke up. But I can say that he is still around, and it was just a dream. As for the meaning, I think it meant that he lives in a different world than I do (this is true); That he likes it where he is no matter how scary or untraditional I think it is; and that he was in a place which I could never access.
I had two messages like that about him - the first one was he went down through a particularly nasty part of the city and I followed him to bring him back; but he disappeared down the escalator into the subway and - disappeared. In my dream my body became frozen at the top of the escalator and try as I might, I couldn't set foot there, then an iron gate closed by itself as well.
Same message. Now, 15 years later, it is easy for me to see where my son's choices in his life and where he went, were in fact manifestations of these above symbols, and try as I might, I couldn't stop him nor bring him back. He prefers his life, and I would never go down his path.
Symbology is fascinating to me.
I hope this helps.
RE: Sagittarius - having a bad year?
After reading all the posts here, I am somewhat comforted that I am not alone and especially liked the post from SagQueen drawing our attention back to focus on the real stuff that life is all about - or should be about. thank you.
I have been laid off twice so far this year, and have had to move away into an area that has turned out, it seems, to be far worse in social rules than the place from where I moved. I am a Pisces with Sag rising, and my north node (future endeavors) with Saturn in my 12th house. It has always seemed that no matter what good intent and abilities I put toward something as a Pisces, the old Sag traits and luck I call it overshadows. I have always been overshadowed by the Sag aspects, and I don't completely understand what I need to do to use this to my advantage, because it seeme it is always a disadvantage. But yea, I am having a terrible year as well.
I lost my job of nearly five years (just short of gaining the right to have some severance pay) (also, they took my vacations away I never had time to take - no pay); my unemployment benefits are on the lower end of the scale of comparisons between states, even though the pay in my state was higher. I spent nearly $70k investing in my education so that I could get a better position and provide for my family at the end of my life since I never could in the beginning, and now I can't even find work much less a better job.. there are no jobs. Nice.
I moved on the promise of a job to a distant state, and when I finally got there, the job was not there. I am now facing not having enough to pay my little decreased rent and my car payment (that's all I have and that is not a lot), but because I am in between states and new, there is no social services help while I wait again from taking a temporary job on another empty promise of a six month contract, then the co. having to cut back again, and suddenly laying me off on the three month contract which I was deceived about by my agency. (if you know your timelines, you can market for what you need using the time you notice).
Sometimes all I see are the evils in the world, and I think that money plays such a major role that without it, we die. I do not think an of us as individuals can change this, and I also think it is what is wrong. The only way through this mess it to network, and draw together as a people and as a family to provide for each other through human caring and sharing as a starting point. Business? There will always be supply and demand, but how do we transition and with what?
What can a Sag do?
RE: Retrograde natal planets
I pulled my natal chart and it states that Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, AND Jupiter are ALL in retrograde! Pluto is square Saturn, Neptune is square Uranus, but Uranus is Trine Saturn; and Saturn is square Jupiter! (I picked all of what I think is just square or anti something) out of those outer planets which are all also retrograde.
Uranus is positioned in my 7th house which falls in Cancer 28.23 degrees; while Pluto and Jupiter are 27 and 24 degrees in Leo; Saturn is 2 degrees Sagitarrius in the 11th house. Meanwhile my Moon in Scorpio also in the 11th house is squaring Mercury, Jupiter, Pluto and Chiron - Chiron is in the 2nd house with Mars in Aquarius.
I have often thought that I am just lucky to be here alive and kicking.. So is this a set up for disasters or what? Any thoughts out there
Still mainly on the subject of outer planets all being retrograde.... ?????
oh, btw, I am a Pisces sun
