Hello all ye fishies! 3/18/60 and i too am way too giving, too emotional, intuitive ( to put it mildly), creative and i choose the worst partners I can possibly find! I may be wrong, but since we are the last in the horoscope line, perhaps It's because we've actually done it all before. We all know that to love is more important than being loved, and giving actually strengthens us for are next (and possibly final) journey. But, like I said - could be wrong - probably not too far off tho.

I have never met a Pisces who's heart wasn't ready to love fully and without hesitation. Of course, we are still human, and will reach the "no more" zone. Doesn't matter if it's one year or ten. But I'm always able to love again with a whole and pure heart.

Like the proverbial cookie jar; always happy to share. But if none are ever replaced, the empty jar becomes just a piece of space-waste.

Yet even during those useless times, my writing flows kinda nice . One boyfriend accused me of using him just for material - ( I work with what I have and with him that's all there was!)

And yes a lot of very creative and dramatic people are Pisces. As are many delusional, schizoaffective, geniuses with dis-associative disorders. Or is it just us... I mean me??

THANKS SCORE! I like to think my poems crave attention - BUT THEY THRIVE ON REACTION!! (F.Y.I. just creative writing. didn't happen).

I do think kezza333 is writing from her young heart (with an old soul). Reminds me of my childhood. And a song by DOPE called "I Am What I Am" off their Group Therapy disk.

It rained a little bit today --

      I thought of you.

We got rained on a lot --

      I always think of you.

You gave my life a little rain -- But we never fell down.

Riding on through it all --

      I thought we always would.

      Rain hurts, hail hurts

      Bugs and rocks hurt too

      But we never fell down.

It's lonely here without you --

I wish I would have, I knew I should have.

      Always together --

      Did everything -- together

      Except you forgot me --

      The day you fell down.

WOW! SpiritoFish that is awesome! I have one similar that I wrote back in 1981.

      A ROOM WITH NO VIEW

This mask I wear to hide the me --

The one I don't want you to see.

      An emptiness runs deep within

A part inside that wont begin

To let you past my special wall --

To let you wander in my hall.

No, I think not -- my fortress stands

Built from the ground with my own hands.

I will not show to anyone --

Those parts of me that can't be won.

For if you grasp, my heart would break --

Shattered, and causing me to make

A deeper place to shelter me

A hollow safe where I can flee.

You'll touch me not -- you'll not come near

This cover's one I must revere.

So ask me not to shed my cloak

I'll not ask you yours to revoke.

We each have hidden halls and rooms

To keep from our impending dooms.

So let me dwell in what I know --

Those places only I may go.

This wall of brick that keeps me well,

A safe retreat from my own hell.

      Hey there PiscesPiggy!

Glad I could be of assistance! It's always nice to feel like one's self again after giving it all away in a relationship. Maybe that's what us Pisces do too well... Give ourselves away until there's nothing left, only to here "You're not the same person I fell in love with". And that's because we're NOT. Having give it all away there is nothing left of us to give. So we have to seek to find ourselves once again. OR IS IT JUST ME???

      REFLECTIONS

I do this to me every time

      Forgetting I'm not yours -- I'm mine

I hurt myself and make me cry

But never stop to ask me "Why?"

Thinking that I feel the thought

Or think the feeling means a lot

I try to keep hold of my soul

But then mind-f*cking me I go

I swear I'll keep myself in me

If found by you -- I'll not be free

So then a phase will come to pass

With new beginnings -- clear as glass

I look ahead with praying eyes

      But don't turn back --

      A reflection dies

Come on Pisces! I know there's more of you out there just wanting to share a piece of your self! Everyone has something inside they wish the world could hear (read).

A circle cannot be broken -- because it then becomes a line.

THANK YOU!! I'm glad this got started too! It's been the highlight of my days to check in here and see what (or who) posted new. I'm actually very green about computers and such. Never been on line or to a chat room or anything like this. I just figured that if I had stuff to share then others must as well. Seems I was correct.

Lisa, how do I go about E-mailing you? You are very encouraging y'know!

      INHERITANCE

So, now that i'm older I've set forth my will

Hoping my loved ones see fit to instill

A good sense of fairness, a like sense of share

For in it i've stated i no longer care

      I raised them with love

And i raised them with fire

I'm sorry to leave and i pray their desires

Are given to both them from heaven above

Cause all i can leave them is stuff, junk and love.

      YOU WHAT??

I shaved my moustache as a child

My mom went nuts - she went quite wild!

Said i never should have done

Not in jest and not for fun!

Said i'd be sorry later on

Said it'd grow back thick as the lawn.

But Daddy shaves what's the big deal?

Well, she was right - it stays there4 still!

I once tried standing up to pee

My daddy does so why not me?

      Disappointed? Yeah you bet!

The floor beneath me got all wet!

I never stood again to whiz

And always sit to do my biz

My mother never found this out --

For this too would have made her shout.

I know i'm not the only girl

To give such things as this a whirl.

I'm probably just the only one

Admitting to these things i've done.

Seems that even to this day

I grasp for things the hardest way

If there's no challenge - there's no goal

Then life would be completely dull.

Hello ILOVEFISH. and thank you for sharing your poetry with us as well! My teens were thirty plus years ago as well.

And hello to you Lisa! And thank you for your kind words about both my brother and my writing.

Now I think I'll lighten the subject up a little...

      ODE TO THE COCKROACH

Snacking on a bag of chips -- A funny feeling passed my lips

      I don't think that's a chip at all -- I think it's moving, Yes, a crawl

The cockroach with his special flavor -- one I did not wish to savor

Too late tho, I crunched him dead -- These extra treats I don't need fed

I spit him out, the taste was stuck -- Figures this is just my luck!

Forever etched into my mind -- The way he squirmed, that fateful grind

So now I ALWAYS check my sack -- To see what goodies it might pack

Some things (I say) we're best without -- Like drinking bees from the water spout

We all agree we'd all get by -- Never swallowing a fly

Still, nothing else can make us gag -- Like roaches in the munchie bag!!

      Enjoy and thanks again ---Katie

Hi Lisa! My brother, Mark, died from a cancer back in '01. He was 44 years old (3 yrs. older than I). He was my best friend growing up. it was just the two of us and our folks. We were both adopted from different backgrounds and there wasn't any other family close by.

Mojo gave you a "heads up", his way of saying "Hi back" i suppose.

      ALWAYS (for Mark)

Always, the space in my life, that is you, has been full.

I drew from you strength, love and will to sustain.

      Always.

Destined to be my tormentor, my captor -- my savior, my hero

      My brother -- my friend

      Always.

Never a time in my life without you.

Never a chance you could not be found by me.

Growing up with you I was happy and strong (even as your prisoner).

      Growing old without you ...

The hole it leaves scares me.

Still, always the memory of your life is intertwined with the memory of mine.

How I am who I am is because of the who that is you.

      Always.

BIG AWWWWWWW!! I wrote a coulpe for my big brother as well. Man, I miss him

      Boys Will Be Boys

Close your eyes and open wide."

My brother said one day outside.

But when I did -- I felt it slide

That big fat worm -- I couyld have died!

He laughed out loud and so I cried

When I told mom he said I lied

Our mom just took it all in stride

Guess the worm and I both had to swollow that ride.

Well, hello ScorpWolf! glad you could join us! And in keeping with the "OUCH" theme...

But It Wasn't Supposed To Hurt

You asked me to want you

      You asked me to care.

      You asked me to

      love you

      (Ido) Too deeply --

      It's real -- and it's rare.

      You wanted to touch me.

      You wanted to share.

      You wanted to love me,

      (You do) too deeply --

      Too painful.

      -- Unfair.

Wow. That was great! and yes they just flow out from me when the Spirit moves. So how old were you when you started your book? Took me twenty years to gather the parts and one year to put it together. Of course as soon as the manuscript was ready to send out everyone wants computer disks. Here I am with pages to do again. O well, now i get to add more to it. more from the darkness that dwells within...

I'd love to read more from you. Here's the first one i ever wrote down (except for the hiku in school y'know.

      GROUND RULES

Somtimes three words can hurt so much

Not "I love you" -- for those words touch

Not "let it be" or "let time resolve"

Three simple words -- "Don't get involved"

Short but sweet eh? okay your turn miss PiscesPiggy! Perhaps another will join us soon...

I know all you fishies swimming out there have lots of goodies in your archives just begging to be shared. And I'm sure the rest of us would LOVE to read some of it. So I'll dip into my pond to get the flow started.

      SPIRIT CATCHER

She catches in their waves of anguish their sorrows, fears and sins.

They know not of her strength or madness; see not how she befriends.

Appointments, never made , are kept - scheduled with divine care

With secrets hidden, held so tight, they seek her out to share.

A Spirit Catcher by design, Twisted - slightly touched

Gathering up the ills of those who'll never know as much.

Drawn they are as if in quest, with intent not foretold

But moments after they converge she feels what's to unfold.

She swiftly trades the spirits out with deepest true compassion

But she must gain from this exchange their darkest painful passion.

Returning to the place she dwells, remembering all their tears

Alone she battles for her soul - she now must fight their fears.

Wrestling within: conquests, defeats, some spirits never leave her

And each new day her conference sought, -- yes she's the Spirit Catcher .

Thank you in advance for your peices Pisces! Look forward to getting to know you all!!

All of this and more! Does anyone find themselves choking back the "I told you so" statement 2,3, and 4 times a day? Sometimes I feel like "don't ask me if you don't want to know" cause when I give the answer they ASKED me for, they (yes everyone in my life) will try everything else first, often wasting days and dollars only then to try my idea with sucess! I hope it's not just me! I'd have to wonder if i'm not actually talking but only thinking loudly.

Yeah, I'm older two, 3/18/60. Never married but i have 2 kids and 5 grandkids. Even now as i'm in a (relatively) healthy relationship, i can't help wondering what i've missed by not mating for life. Has anyone ever noticed that the more vivid dreams come during the week of the full moon? Or if female during menstration? Some say a woman's third eye is very much open during this time and dreams are especially precognitive? AND YEAH, PISCES ROCK!! (even if we're the only ones dancing to the music only we can hear!)

HI! my b-day is also 3-18. but i'm a rat-fish . i find some of the same things in my sphere: poetry, a lot of poetry; people seeking me out to share things with me so they may feel better, (even have a poem about that one "SPIRIT CATCHER"; i was dismissed from a group at the local mental health center - get this - for not having any problems (o yeah it really happened!), actually i have extreme mental health issues as well as an acute sense of e.s.p. But im quite well adjusted and happy sans their help. i guess one could say i know who and what i am and i'm very much ok with my station in this time/space experience. i am blessed to be sure, and fortunate to be able to say that "i know what i know and i know when i know it" if any one's interested i'd be happy to type my poem out for you - i bet most of you can relate!
