Not all Cancerians are phychic. I have many Cancer friends and they are so out of touch with the feelings of others becuase they are so involved in their own internal life that even if you wrote it down for them, they would think only of how it affected them. Having said that, some of my Cancer friends are very intuitive, depending on their moods. If they are insulating themselves, you could be in a severe depression and they wouldn't notice. My favourite things are Cancerians is their sense of humour. All my Cancer friends are funny and love to laugh (when not down). I have more Cancer friends and am very compatible with Cancer but you must always be wary of what you say because one moment what you say is funny, the next the may take it as an insult. You just never know. I appreciate this unpredictablity because I adore challenge and change but many other signs, no way Jose. I am a Virgo Sun, Taurus Rising with emotional watery Pisces Moon. It is this aspect that makes me so connected to Cancerians. I dated a Cancerian I meet in college and in 7 1/2 years, we never lived together which was perfect for both of us, freedom loving, lots of me time folks. We are still great friends and connect at the deepest level. But even now, I can say the wrong things and feel the air chill. Some don't want that much work in a relationship but I say, "All good things take time and effort."

RE: Cancer man, and he is confusing
I, a Virgo, dated a lovely Cancer man in college and the affair lasted near 8 years. We shared many interests and values. The relationship was intense and very passionate but imperfect. I know a few other Cancer men and they share similarities. In my experience Cancer men fall in love easily and deeply and yes, they love the drama of falling in love and the newness of it all. They dislike to be cornered in by anything, mentally or spiritually and will run if pushed beyond their changing boundaries. They can be touchy and moody and can take offense at the slightest comment or action that they perceive as a criticism although they can be quite outspoken themselves. They can swing from loving, warm, affectionate men to being cold and withdrawn in a matter of minutes and God help you if you should make a comment about their Mother's. It has been twenty plus years since that relationship and although we live on different coasts, we talk to each other every couple of months for hours at a time as if time has stood still. We talk with the same intensity and honesty that we shared many moons ago (pun intended). We appreciate each others honesty, directness, vulerability and more importantly, our love of freedom. We are intimately connected but we are both such freedom lovers that we cannot be together. My cousin, another Cancer is very much the same way, five years in Texas, 4 year in China and counting. He loves, but he loves his freedom more. If you can be sensitive, if you can respect this need and if you have a fervent life of your own, then a good relationship with a Cancer man is possible and certainly worth the effort.

RE: All Things Virgo
Since you think it is difficult to be a Virgo, what sign do you think would suit you better?

RE: All Things Virgo
I don't see how wanting to perform at 110% is a problem, definately a Virgo trait. The problem may lay in expecting others to also perform at 110%. I also love animals and I am the sign of the Dog in Chinese Astrology so it's no surprise that I am an animal rights activist. I have many Cancer friends. Cancer and Virgo is a good combo so you are lucky indeed.

RE: All Things Virgo
Yep, my Sun is in Virgo, Moon in Pisces and Ascendant in Taurus with 4, count 'em, four planets in Leo. I do have Virgo traits but I am warm and emotional like Pisceans. I like my earthy blend of rooted, Taurean strength although this also enhances my Virgo stubborness. I like simplicity not necessarily order because I appreciate efficiency. I know some Scorpios who also have this trait. Spiritual advisors constantly remind us to "clean up the clutter," or "out with the old to make room for the new." My sun in Virgo provides me with a quick wit, the quickest in the Zodiac due to Mercury and I am a deep thinker, a water sign trait. I have found there are positive and negative qualities to every sign, I choose to look at the positive in all individuals. Is that a Virgo trait? I don't know but I do know that I am discriminating about who I share my life and time with. Never would I marry a Gemini, Sag, Libra or Aries. All of which I have as close friends or family but who long term do not suit my personality or more importantly, values. One cannot look on just the Sun sign. We are made up of many more astral elements and that provides and closer look as the internal workings, motivations and essence of an individual. Environment also plays a large role. This blog has judgemental factors being applied. Virgos are being accused of being critical and picky when someone noted above that they hated all Virgos? Is that not critical, highly judgemental and picky? Let's stop putting ourselves in boxes and enjoy each others better facets. Life is short my friends and we all have to live here together.
