I just wanted to let you know that I talked with Chris and he wants to remain friends with me, but is not ready for any kind of a "relationship". He did say that we would be friends forever, so he does want to keep me in his life. Funny, I'm both calm and sad about this. I definitely want to remain good friends with him, but am so drawn to him that I'm sad that he isn't able to open up his heart to me. I know that it's probably his past experiences and mistakes and his having hard times right now. I've learned many things from him... about being independent and living in each moment... appreciating the joy and goodness that is around me. I hope that by remaining friends with him that I am able to help him a little with the lessons that he needs to learn. Thanks again for your reading. Hi Marcus, I lost my husband about a year and a half ago and have been working on rebuilding my life - trying to be open to new possibilities. I have a friend who I care deeply for and wonder if we will eventually be able to share more of our lives and time with each other. I want to very much, but feel that he is not quite ready for this. I'm trying to give him space so he doesn't feel like I'm pressuring him. I've told him that I just want to get to know him better and if our schedules work out and we can spend time together.... I try to enjoy these moments. I know he is going through some hard times right now and I've told him I will continue to call him and stay in touch because I do like him alot.
