Oh, man. It's so true! I don't think I've ever heard it summed up so well. That is the perfect analogy. It's funny, though, because I am VERY much a Cancer, and underneath all that confusion, my desires are pretty simple: a comfortable, secure home, a steady guy, and a lot of connection with my friends and family. I guess it's just that the confusion is more about... how do I get that?

RE: Photo Readings
That's pretty much right on.
I am a bit curious about living "further south", though. Can you maybe explain your feelings here in a little more depth? This isn't the first I've been told that Portland isn't the right place for a move despite my own feelings about the place. It is pretty far north, though, so "south" of it could be just about anywhere, however, there are a few places that have some significance: Los Angeles, CA, Austin, TX, Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN. I am wondering if any of them are relevant or if it's somewhere else entirely? I am not really sure at this point where to go or when I'd be in a position to leave anyway, but I know the living situation I'm in can't hold out forever, and that's mostly why I've been looking around.

RE: Photo Readings
I hope these work: First one is me. The second was taken at the 24 Hour Church of Elvis with some friends. You can read them, me, all of us, whatever you want to... I am mostly just curious about what comes to you, although I am hoping to live in Portland, so if you come up with anything to that end, I'd love to know. Thanks.

RE: My job will be ending in November
I know you didn't really ask for my advice, and I have none to give you from an astrological/psychic standpoint. This is just practical advice from someone who works in the unemployment office. Start looking now. The more proactive you are, the better your chances of finding a job will be whether they offer you a position in November or not. If they do, then you have choices, and you can certainly choose to stay where you are if you like. If they don't, you're not scrambling to get the job-search process under way once you really don't have a job. Even if all you do is start to update your resume a bit, any preparation you do will help you now come what may and you still have the luxury of time on your side. Start researching and networking, even if you aren't actively seeking a new job. It's much easier to find a job while you still have one and the longer you go between jobs, the harder they are to get. I talk to so many people who don't fully grasp how serious this recession is until the moment they don't have a job. You are lucky to have several months notice. I would use it to prepare as much as you can.
Again, I am sorry to throw my advice in here without an invite to do so, but I hope it helps some. Whatever you decide to do, I wish you lots of luck with the transitions ahead.

RE: Offering 1 question readings 2 the 1st 10 people ONLY!
Amantim,
Thank you SO much for your reading. I'm sorry it took me so long to get on here to give feedback. I was actually visiting the place I am hoping to move (Portland, OR) and haven't had an opportunity to check out the reading you did until now. I don't really understand it so much either, but it also makes some kind of sense. I asked my question knowing that there were a lot of issues that had to be dealt with first, so the sack could represent any of those, or all of them even. My goal was to do it in less than a year, but that's flexible. I have to get my finances in better shape and I would need to find a job out there, and there are a LOT of things that need to be done that will take time. I think what resonates is basically that there ARE a lot of issues to be dealt with, and fortunately, I am pretty well aware of them, but I am hoping that once things are in order over here, the rest will move smoothly. When I initially asked my question, I was planning to move to the city sight unseen and with a lot of expectations and I wonder if that maybe had an impact on what you saw. Now that I have been there, I still feel like it's somewhere I belong, but I also have the real-world knowledge of the place to go along with the hopes and dreams. Again, thank you so much for your reading.

I am hoping to relocate to the west coast within a year. I'd appreciate any insight you could give me on the situation and how it may work out.
Thank you

RE: Just curious... Cancer/Taurus
Sorry, I just noticed there was a reply here. I don't really frequent the boards, but I thought I'd put this situation out here in case somebody knew something about it. Thank you so much for your help
It sounds accurate on my end at least, and his, based on what little information I have from my friend. I'm quite impressed you did that by hand and again, so grateful that you took the time.

RE: Anyone need a quick reading? im practicing.
Hi,
Could you please give me a little insight about a potential relocation.
Thanks

RE: Compatibility analysis
Thanks, Captain
That's quite an interesting result, actually. "The relationship would focus on larger realms, foreign lands, and philosophical or religious systems, to which you two would apply independent thinking." This statement seems especially appropriate, because that's kind of where my own personal focus is right now. Whether anything romantic happens or not, the meeting seems like it will at least be timely and relevant which is kind of an exciting idea on its own. Again, thanks for the insight

RE: Compatibility analysis
I am going on a trip to visit a friend this summer. I'm currently living in the mid-Atlantic, and she lives in the Pacific Northwest, so this is a pretty long distance, but while I'm there, she wants me to introduce me to a friend of hers. He's a Taurus (DOB May 12, 1983) and I am a Cancer (DOB June 23, 1983). I'm not really looking or hoping for a specific answer, but just generally curious what kind of potential might be there, if any. For what it's worth, it's very possible that I might end up moving to this city at some point in the future, but as that is probably at LEAST a year in the making, any insights on the long-distance angle would be appreciated, too. Thanks

RE: THIS EXPLAINED A LOT ON SCORPIO MEN
Well, damn. This explains a lot. Unfortunately, I think I found out too late.

RE: Offering one card Guardian Angel - Message for the day!
Hi, thanks for your offer. Could you please do a reading for me as well?
I've been struggling with some romantic decisions lately and could use some help deciding where to apply (or not apply) my efforts. Any guidance you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Andi
