As outcome the final card (Lovers) clarified by 8 of Coins clearly shows that this relationship will last only as far as long as your studies do.
It's pretty clear by the cards in the entire spread that this situation has, from your point of view, purely materialistic motives.
The first two cards (Strength + 9 of Coins) suggest you want to feel in control of the situation as it's been clearly communicated that this is for financial security and you are comfortable with that.
The 'wild card' seems to be the 4 of Wands reversed. Is it his marital situation or his suggestion of meeting somewhere other than his home that makes you feel uncertain or distrustful of the arrangement, almost as though there is something he is hiding from you..

RE: Can someone help me interpret my reading? Many thanks!
RE: Tarot spread - what does this mean as his feelings for me? (strength and devil +)
so i did a 4 spread tarot reading for the way a guy feels about me.
The strength and devil ( the devil popped out twice, because i shuffled it back in)
Then i clarified the devil and The knight of wands and The ace of wands popped out.
i figured it means he's restraining his obsessive sexual desire for me, however i'm a beginner at tarot and would love to know what you guys think this all could mean a little more in depth? it would help me very much thank you
Strength can be about controlling the animalistic side of our nature.
Devil lives for that side, so together it would sound like he's trying to control (or hide) his true nature or intentions by playing Mr Nice Guy.
Devil being clarified by Knight of Wands and Ace of Wands....
I sometimes see this Knight as a player, he is driven by his desires but moves on quickly to the next challenge.
Ace of Wands can be seen as a phallic symbol, it can be a rather sexual card.
Given these cards together, I wouldn't say it's not so much an obsessive sexual desire but more he is coming over as charming but may only have one goal in mind.......just another sexual conquest.
I'd move slowly with him if it were me.
RE: Hello! Hello! Hello!
Hi, I agree with Dancervibes, stop doing free readings for everyone (make family the only exception). Tell friends that you will expect a small payment from now on and never advise strangers who enquire that you charge a fee.
People don't factor in that your time as well as your energy is being used and time is money.
Charge a fair price (not cheap) because if you don't put a value on your time nobody else will either. You'll come to learn that people pay more attention to what you are telling them when they are paying for your services. Don't undersell yourself.
Think about setting up a Facebook or Instagtam page, connect with other tarot enthusiasts and utilise social media to get your name out there.
Youtube is good too but requires huge time anc effort to hit the algorithm to get your videos noticed.
I hope that gives you some ideas.
RE: Help interpreting cards?
It's not a very positive reading.
Also please note I'll use the words 'alleged' and 'pereived' as there are obvious legal issues here.
The cards suggest X has preceived you as having broken their trust and are not wanting you in their circle anymore (the job loss). Unfortunately forgiveness is not going to be forthcoming either, and from a business sense 'mud sticks' so it may make it difficult for them as a business to move on from these allegations.
Nobody has come out of this looking good and reputations are damaged.
Even though you spoke out about the alleged abuse it's now making you doubt your professional ability.
There seems there will be no legal case to answer, however as I mentioned earlier reputations are tarnished. X's resentment of your part in this could actually make things difficult for future job references.
I'm sorry it doesn't sound very good, with all those reversed cards there a lot that needs fixing (if that is even possible).
RE: Does It matter if the card back is non reversible?
Read them any way you want. I have cards with non reversible backs but still read reversals with them.
RE: Hanged man(past) Wheel of Fortune(Present) 2 of cups(Future) interpretation
Hanged Man - being in limbo.
Feeling you've been on your own too long.
Wheel - changes.
Things are starting to change.
2 of Cups - the meeting of 2 people.
Could be a romantic interest coming in to your life.
RE: Interpreting the World card in a self reading
I find when a card shows up in these types of positions that you need to look at the inverted meaning.
I'd read The World, in this position, as a fear of completion, it's a feeling of being in limbo. A fear that once a cycle is completed, what do I do now? So overall it's self limiting, a fear of moving on to the next stage (of an aspect of life).or moving out of your comfort zone.
RE: Dreams about Tarot
@TheCaptain Thank you for clarifying, I was scared. You're right, I'm at the beginning of my Tarot journey and I focus way too much on written interpretations and keywords.
Do you have any advice for me? Sometimes I'm scared to listen and my intuition.
Intuition is like a muscle, it needs to be exercised to strengthen it.
Don't focus on 'the right' meaning of the cards, remember, every book or guidebook you read is only that authors interpretation.
Books are helpful but they are not law.
There is no single meaning for a card, they change, or are influenced by the context of the question and/or by the surrounding cards.
Look at the images, try and form a scenario, who are the people in the card, what are they doing, why are they doing it, what happened to create the scene.
If you're deck uses images from a different era (like the RWS), try and think how it interprets in to current times . Cards like The Chariot for example, we don't use chariots these days, we do however have cars.
We don't have Emperors, we do have government leaders, CEO's of large companys.
Don't be too hard on yourself, no reader is 100% correct (either they're lying or their clients are if they tell you otherwise). Learning is all about finding out when you're right and wrong. Nobody gets it right all the time (the best professional readers will admit that they can get things wrong)
Find a forum that is for learning tarot with other tarot readers, they have a wealth of resources, games helpful input and information and are more than happy to help you in your learning.
RE: If you could ONLY own 3 Tarot/Oracle decks, which 3 would they be???
My 3 decks would have to be RWS Centennial Edition, Deviant Moon and Soul Cards.
No, wait....Robin Wood, Legacy of the Divine & Messenger Oracle.
Nope....hang on. Can't do it.
RE: Cheating with an ex
It could indicate your friend is chained to their partner's past. Sometimes people have a problem dealing with a new partner's romantic past and feel insecure about the strength of the relationship.
Unless there is evidence that points to the partner cheating with their ex, I think it may be problematic to say a categorical 'yes', as some unfounded suspicion can turn into a self fulfilling prophecy.
RE: New to Tarot & looking for advice
Regarding books, I highly recommend WTF is Tarot? by Bakara Wintner, it's a more modern approach to reading the cards.
Joan Bunnings 'Learn Tarot' is a great learning resource too, you could invest in the book, however she has uploaded the entire thing (FOR FREE) on the Web. It's a complete beginners course and very insightful.
As for learning all the meanings..........welcome to a life long learning process.
Practice is the best way to learn.
