A number of frogs were traveling through the woods. Two of
them fell into a deep pit. All the other frogs gathered
around the pit. When they saw how deep the pit was, they
told the two frogs that they were as good as dead.
The two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out
of the pit with all of their might. The other frogs kept
telling them to stop, that they were as good as dead.
Finally, one of the frogs took heed to what the other frogs
were saying and gave up. He fell down and died.
The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could.
Once again, the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the
pain and just die. He jumped even harder and finally made
When he got out, the other frogs said, "Did you not hear
us?" The frog explained to them that he was deaf. He
thought they were encouraging him the entire time.
This story teaches two lessons:
1. There is the power of life and death in the tongue. An
encouraging word to someone who is down can lift them up
and help them make it through the day.
2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be the
push over the edge. Be careful of what you say. Speak
life to those who cross your path. Anyone can speak
words that can rob another of the spirit to push forward
in difficult times.
AMEN!!! to this Tooter....and it an excellent reminder that is so needed today
blessings to you
Another inspiring story, thank you Tooter
The Farmer's Donkey
By: Author Unknown
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal
cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out
what to do. Finally he decided the animal was old and the
well needed to be covered up anyway, it just wasn't worth
it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbors to come over and help him.
They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into
the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening
and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement, he
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked
down the well and was astonished at what he saw. With
every shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was
doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take
a step up.
As the farmer's neighbors continued to shovel dirt on top
of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up.
Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up
over the edge of the well and trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt.
The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and
take a step up. Each of our troubles is a stepping-stone.
We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping,
never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up!
Wonderful, inspirational story Tooter! And welcome back, I was wondering earlier today where you had disappeared to. Good to see you again my friend
Going threw my own h*ell i forget sometimes when it gets the darkest what all this is about and when i can not see the whys or times or how long , i have to go back to the simplicity of things and remember all things serve a purpose and the time they are to be just like this example when you add all of it together the picture comes into place but getting there is another story and times right now are very strange and every thing become questionable you can have all the pieces and not see the whole picture until all the pieces are put into place so it is very important to remember what our purpose is and what we are here to do and its very easy to get lost in the darkness it will get better and the pieces will all be put into place to see the whole picture .
Even with all my doubts and fears i have and have gone threw i was informed today i am a new Father and its a boy 8lbs and 3 ounces black headed and blue eyes and Andrea and the baby are doing fine so if i am crazy it just got a little more crazier but i do know the powers that be can do wonderful things and this is one of them, and yes it is still hard for me to except all of this but a lot of the pieces for me have been put together and so much has happen to me that is unbelievable but the one thing i can not Deni is what i feel in my Heart this is where my truth is and staying out of the head or ego is hard to do but it has gotten a lot better the more fear i remove the more i experience and getting to the root of some of these fears is not easy , but i wanted to share this with you all i am told this is a wonderful day in the Universe i am still trying to absorb all of this . Love Tooter

A little boy is telling his Grandma how "everything" is
going wrong: school, family problems, and severe health
problems in the family. Meanwhile, Grandma is baking a
cake. She asks her grandson if he would like a snack, which
of course he does.
"Here, have some cooking oil," she says. "Yuck" says the
"Then how about a couple raw eggs?"
"Gross, Grandma!" he replies.
"Would you prefer some flour then? Or maybe some baking
soda?" she asks.
"Grandma, those are all yucky!" he replied.
To which Grandma replies: "Yes, all those things seem to
taste bad all by themselves. But when they are mixed
together in the right amounts and the right manner, they
make a delicious cake!"
She continued, "God works the same way. Many times we
wonder why he would let us go through such bad and
difficult times. But God knows that when He puts these
things all in His order, they always work for good! We
just have to trust Him and, eventually, they will all make
Sometimes getting to the other side can be a adventure or scary situation ,like the old saying cant see the forest for the trees and when in that state we miss the beauty of the forest and all with in it .
Life is like that also we get so caught up in the fear of today and tomorrow that we miss the beauty in between .This story lets us see a direct action of fear of loss and the consequences of that fear .
During these changing times we have opportunities to deal with them fears and sometimes we want to cling own to them so afraid to let go cause we dont know what will happen if we do .The fear can be paralyzing to us .What would you have done if you had known the truth of this story before hand ,think in how many ways this story can be applied in our life ,what can we learn from it ?
For me i would like to think i would of laid my cookies down to and we both could of shared 2 packages instead of one and in that process making a new friend and gotten more faith in the act of giving and sharing by sharing what has been so freely give to me . This is where the term of acting our way into right thinking from the heart of Truth instead of thinking our self into right action .
This is where the mind and the Heart collide the ego of the mind says to not share and hang own to the cookies let them get their own and this keeps us in fear of loss and every thing is never enough.
But when we live from the Heart comes the giving of self and sharing all we have ,and for me remembering all i have has been a gift of love and is not mine to own hence the old saying of ,its in giving that we receive this is our true nature of living from the Heart .
If every human lived from the Heart there would be no hunger no wars and what a peaceful planet this would be and the knowing of what i can give to make this a better world and what i can give to the world instead of what i can take from it . Tooter
Pack of Cookies
A young lady was waiting for her flight in the boarding
room of a big airport. As she would need to wait many hours,
she decided to buy a book to spend her time. She also bought
a packet of cookies.
She sat down in an armchair, in the VIP room of the airport,
to rest and read in peace. Beside the armchair where the
packet of cookies lay, a man sat down in the next seat,
opened his magazine and started reading.
When she took out the first cookie, the man took one as well.
She felt irritated but said nothing. She just thought: "What
a nerve! If I was in the mood I would punch him for daring!"
For each cookie she took, the man took one too. This was
infuriating her but she didn't want to cause a scene. When
only one cookie remained, she thought: "What would this
abusive man do now?"
Then, the man, taking the last cookie, divided it into half,
giving her one half. "This is too much," she thought. She was
much too angry now! She took her book and her things and
stormed to the boarding place.
When she sat down in her seat, she looked into her purse to
take her eyeglasses. And to her surprise, her packet of
cookies was there. Untouched and unopened!
She felt so ashamed! She realized that she was wrong. She had
forgotten that her cookies were kept in her purse.
The man had divided his cookies with her, without feeling
anger or bitterness while she had been very angry, thinking
that she was dividing her cookies with him. And now there
was no chance to explain herself nor to apologize.
There are four things that you cannot recover. The stone
after the throw; the word after it's said; the occasion
after the loss; and the time after it's gone.
