I am new to this forum and posting this message to get some clarification about the house system being used by tarot.com. It appears to be the "sun-on-ascendant" system which assumes your sun sign is on the first house. I learned astrology many years ago with the system that calculates the first house as being the sign that was on the horizon at the time of birth. Obviously, this requires the time of birth to make the calculation, but gives a totally different result of signs on the houses. Given the sophistication of the software used at tarot.com, I am curious why this calculation is not used. I just purchased the "Big Picture Forecast" and was really disoriented by the use of houses that do not correlate to a full birth chart using the time of birth. Thanks for any insights you might share.
BTW, I am a Capricorn with moon in Leo and Aries ascendant. I have been a student of Astrology for about 30 years and am still learning and still fascinated with its insights.

I never get any reading from this site
but it is strange why they use sunrise chart
usually it is used if only DOB is known
so there is no way of calculating houses
maybe it's a cheaper service ?
