Second opinion tarot reading!
Thanks so much for providng further interpretation of the present card.
it is not so complicated as you make it. You have to differentiate between emotions and feelings. They are not identical. Emotions come from the mind, feelings come from the heart.
Accept the totality of it. Accept the mud, accept the lotus, and accept all that is in between.
I was referring to "psychosomatic complex" as being complicated unless it simply being same thing as "emotional thinking"?
Thank you for simplifying and explaining e"motions from mind and feelings from heart". Yes, when accepting then there is "peacefulness". surrendering...
Wishing you a great day, every day...
I was referring to "psychosomatic complex" as being complicated unless it simply being same thing as "emotional thinking"? No, psychosomatic means actually body and mind as one complex. Feelings are bodyless, but emotions are always also bodily reactions.
That´s why psychologists don´t live a very sane life. If you come across emotional disturbed people the whole day long, in the night you will dream of the same people.
I have often wondered about that. Most of my friends with fathers as pschologists or psychoitrists did not live a sane life (as we may perceive it sane or not sane :_)) and often had a lot of emotional and issues.
When we have unhealthy people around us but do not know it (especially those who are so disturbed that will cover it (are good at it) and have plans of what they introduce to you (PERSONA) and then they affect your life and not in a good way. Like predators...and vampires without pitty... :(-
The other day I had very limitted time but I tried to look at "psychosomatic complex" and the description was complicated and went over my head and did not have time to read more on it so I called it complicated science. LOL - thanks for simplifying it..
Sweet dreams hans at your time zone...
Thank you znl,
when you have unhealthy people around you, your being there would be a hindrance. Leave them alone. Sometimes leaving somebody absolutely alone is of immense value. People need sometimes to be just themselves: nothing to hinder, nothing to fight with, nothing to project, no excuses. If you are unhappy it is just because of you; if you are happy it is because of you. This understanding has to come to them.
hi, that's right hans. I think I may start copying all your posts and just go over them as valuable as they are and share them.
If you are not able to see the unhealthy they will disturbe you by the time you realize it. They are too disturbed and are experienced. Once you realize it though you have to help yourself and then leave them and hopefully maybe they can help themselves.
thank you hans. Sweet dreams.
Thank you znl,
THERE WAS ONCE A MAN NAMED MOJUD. HE LIVED IN A TOWN WHERE HE HAD OBTAINED A POST AS A SMALL OFFICIAL, AND IT SEEMED LIKELY THAT HE WOULD END HIS DAYS AS INSPECTOR OF WEIGHTS AND MEASURES.
ONE DAY WHEN HE WAS WALKING THROUGH THE GARDENS OF AN ANCIENT BUILDING NEAR HIS HOME, KHIDR, THE MYSTERIOUS GUIDE OF THE SUFIS, APPEARED TO HIM, DRESSED IN SHIMMERING GREEN. KHIDR SAID, "MAN OF BRIGHT PROSPECTS! LEAVE YOUR WORK AND MEET ME AT THE RIVERSIDE IN THREE DAYS' TIME." THEN HE DISAPPEARED.
MOJUD WENT TO HIS SUPERIOR IN TREPIDATION AND SAID THAT HE HAD TO LEAVE. EVERYONE IN THE TOWN SOON HEARD OF THIS AND THEY SAID, "POOR MOJUD! HE HAS GONE MAD." BUT, AS THERE WERE MANY CANDIDATES FOR HIS JOB, THEY SOON FORGOT HIM.
ON THE APPOINTED DAY, MOJUD MET KHIDR, WHO SAID TO HIM, "TEAR YOUR CLOTHES AND THROW YOURSELF INTO THE STREAM. PERHAPS SOMEONE WILL SAVE YOU." MOJUD DID SO, EVEN THOUGH HE WONDERED IF HE WERE MAD.
SINCE HE COULD SWIM, HE DID NOT DROWN, BUT DRIFTED A LONG WAY BEFORE A FISHERMAN HAULED HIM INTO HIS BOAT, SAYING, "FOOLISH MAN! THE CURRENT IS STRONG. WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO?" MOJUD SAID, "I DON'T REALLY KNOW."
"YOU ARE MAD," SAID THE FISHERMAN, "BUT I WILL TAKE YOU INTO MY REED-HUT BY THE RIVER YONDER, AND WE SHALL SEE WHAT CAN BE DONE FOR YOU." WHEN HE DISCOVERED THAT MOJUD WAS WELL-SPOKEN, HE LEARNED FROM HIM HOW TO READ AND WRITE. IN EXCHANGE, MOJUD WAS GIVEN FOOD AND HELPED THE FISHERMAN WITH HIS WORK. AFTER A FEW MONTHS, KHIDR AGAIN APPEARED, THIS TIME AT THE FOOT OF MOJUD'S BED, AND SAID, "GET UP NOW AND LEAVE THIS FISHERMAN. YOU WILL BE PROVIDED FOR."
MOJUD IMMEDIATELY QUIT THE HUT, DRESSED AS A FISHERMAN, AND WANDERED ABOUT UNTIL HE CAME TO A HIGHWAY.
AS DAWN WAS BREAKING HE SAW A FARMER ON A DONKEY ON HIS WAY TO MARKET. "DO YOU SEEK WORK?" ASKED THE FARMER, "BECAUSE I NEED A MAN TO HELP ME BRING BACK SOME PURCHASES."
MOJUD FOLLOWED HIM. HE WORKED FOR THE FARMER FOR NEARLY TWO YEARS, BY WHICH TIME HE HAD LEARNED A GREAT DEAL ABOUT AGRICULTURE BUT LITTLE ELSE. ONE AFTERNOON WHEN HE WAS BALING WOOL, KHIDR APPEARED TO HIM AND SAID, "LEAVE THAT WORK, WALK TO THE CITY OF MOSUL, AND USE YOUR SAVINGS TO BECOME A SKIN-MERCHANT."
IN MOSUL HE BECAME KNOWN AS A SKIN-MERCHANT, NEVER SEEING KHIDR WHILE HE PLIED HIS TRADE FOR THREE YEARS. HE HAD SAVED QUITE A LARGE SUM OF MONEY, AND WAS THINKING OF BUYING A HOUSE, WHEN KHIDR APPEARED AND SAID, "GIVE ME YOUR MONEY, WALK OUT OF THIS TOWN AS FAR AS THE DISTANT SAMARKAND, AND WORK FOR A GROCER THERE."
MOJUD DID SO.
PRESENTLY HE BEGAN TO SHOW UNDOUBTED SIGNS OF ILLUMINATION. HE HEALED THE SICK, SERVED HIS FELLOW MAN IN THE SHOP DURING HIS SPARE TIME, AND HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE MYSTERIES BECAME DEEPER AND DEEPER.
CLERICS, PHILOSOPHERS AND OTHERS VISITED HIM AND ASKED, "UNDER WHOM DID YOU STUDY?"
"IT IS DIFFICULT TO SAY," SAID MOJUD.
HIS DISCIPLES ASKED, "HOW DID YOU START YOUR CAREER?"
HE SAID, "AS A SMALL OFFICIAL." "AND YOU GAVE IT UP TO DEVOTE YOURSELF TO SELF-MORTIFICATION?"
"NO, I JUST GAVE IT UP." THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND HIM.
PEOPLE APPROACHED HIM TO WRITE THE STORY OF HIS LIFE.
"WHAT HAVE YOU BEEN IN YOUR LIFE?" THEY ASKED.
"I JUMPED INTO A RIVER, BECAME A FISHERMAN, THEN WALKED OUT OF HIS REED-HUT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. AFTER THAT, I BECAME A FARMHAND. WHILE I WAS BALING WOOL, I CHANGED AND WENT TO MOSUL, WHERE I BECAME A SKIN-MERCHANT. I SAVED SOME MONEY THERE, BUT GAVE IT AWAY. THEN I WALKED TO SAMARKAND WHERE I WORKED FOR A GROCER. AND THIS IS WHERE I AM NOW."
"BUT THIS INEXPLICABLE BEHAVIOR THROWS NO LIGHT UPON YOUR STRANGE GIFTS AND WONDERFUL EXAMPLES," SAID THE BIOGRAPHERS.
"THAT IS SO," SAID MOJUD.
SO THE BIOGRAPHERS CONSTRUCTED FOR MOJUD A WONDERFUL AND EXCITING STORY: BECAUSE ALL SAINTS MUST HAVE THEIR STORY, AND THE STORY MUST BE IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE APPETITE OF THE LISTENER, NOT WITH THE REALITIES OF LIFE.
AND NOBODY IS ALLOWED TO SPEAK OF KHIDR DIRECTLY. THAT IS WHY THIS STORY IS NOT TRUE. IT IS A REPRESENTATION OF A LIFE. THIS IS THE REAL LIFE OF ONE OF THE GREATEST SUFIS.
This story explains so much and is so rich in meaning.
p.s it would be so hard to follow the orders of Khidr today w the job market being what it is -
thanks for sharing..
Start becoming conscious; that is the only way to arrive.
"Start becoming conscious; that is the only way to arrive. "
whaaat? is that to me..
Hi hans. so where do you get all your patience from? Wishing you a wonderful week.
From loving what I tirelessly do.
To be conscious means to take the whole responsibility on your own shoulders.
I figured as much too..:)
"To be conscious means to take the whole responsibility on your own shoulders. "
Is this for every thing? Or could you mean responsibility of your own "happiness" and well being..
So that I don't lose trend of my thought: If it is to take responsiblity for your own happiness and well being then what can prompt man to seek"others" at all. Is needing, sharing, helping, making etc and doing bad.. (if these are accomplished by being with others) and of course at the same time being "yourself" not getting lost.
Is this for every thing? No.
Or could you mean responsibility of your own "happiness" and well being: no.
If it is to take responsiblity for your own happiness and well being then what can prompt man to seek"others" at all: then all is as it should be. Seeking "others" means seeking yourself in others instead in yourself.
Is needing, sharing, helping, making etc and doing bad.. (if these are accomplished by being with others) and of course at the same time being "yourself" not getting lost: Yes. First your mistrust has to dissipate.
When you are in love you are mad. And only the mad man can come back to himself; the clever and the cunning and the calculating will think so many things against coming back to himself.
"When you are in love you are mad. And only the mad man can come back to himself; the clever and the cunning and the calculating will think so many things against coming back to himself. "
This is soo beautiful. Thank you hans. Heat touching and wish it for everyone.
lol - I meant to write "heart " touching and not "heat" touching...
ONE DAY THE RABBI OF ZANS WAS STANDING AT THE
WINDOW AND LOOKING OUT INTO THE STREET. SEEING A
PASSER-BY, HE KNOCKED ON THE WINDOW PANE AND
SIGNED TO THE MAN TO COME INTO THE HOUSE.
WHEN THE STRANGER ENTERED THE ROOM, RABBI HAYYIM
ASKED HIM: -- 'TELL ME, IF YOU FOUND A PURSE OF
DUCATS, WOULD YOU RETURN IT TO ITS OWNER?'
'RABBI,' SAID THE MAN, 'IF I KNEW THE OWNER I
SHOULD RETURN THE PURSE WITHOUGH A MOMENT'S
DELAY.' 'YOU ARE A FOOL,' SAID THE RABBI OF ZANS.
THEN HE RESUMED HIS POSITION AT THE WINDOW, CALLED
ANOTHER PASSER-BY, AND PUT THE SAME QUESTION TO
HIM. 'I AM NOT SUCH A FOOL AS TO GIVE UP A PURSE
FULL OF MONEY THAT HAS COME MY WAY,' SAID THE MAN.
'YOU'RE A BAD LOT,' SAID THE RABBI OF ZANS, AND
CALLED IN A THIRD MAN.
HE REPLIED: -- 'RABBI, HOW CAN I KNOW -- ON WHAT
RUNG I SHALL BE WHEN I FIND THE PURSE, OR WHETHER
I SHALL SUCCEED IN FENDING OFF THE EVIL URGE?
PERHAPS IT WILL GET THE BETTER OF ME, AND I SHALL
APPROPRIATE WHAT BELONGS TO ANOTHER. BUT PERHAPS
GOD, BLESSED BE HE, WILL HELP ME TO RIGHT IT, AND
IN THAT CASE, I SHALL RETURN WHAT I HAVE FOUND TO
ITS RIGHTFUL OWNER.' 'THOSE ARE GOOD WORDS,' CRIED
THE ZADDICK. 'YOU ARE A TRUE SAGE.'
unless you are in that situation you don't know how you are going to react.
A person who is honest will say it how it is and will not lock themselves into a corner w one choice only. so a true sage will show they can have evil urges but that God, will also be with them to do the right thing...
hans, am I close or what?
You are not close, you are spot on, right there. I could not have written it better.
It is good if you allow your beliefs to be destroyed. It is good and will be healthy for you if you don't
cling to your beliefs. And something seems to have
