I'm thankful for ...

  • My family. And even though he died two years ago, for my father. Since he died I've realized how important family is -- both having good, reliable family members and also having ones you'd rather be rid of. I'm thankful for a roof over my head, a warm home and clothes and enough food to eat. I have a 20-year-old car, and I'm really grateful for that, even though someone hit me yesterday [hit and run; but it's drivable, and fixable and I have insurance.] So, while I have a lot of progress to make, I have the basics, and in these tough economic times, I'm very thankful for what I do have. And I'm very thankful we have had an honest election this year -- after two coup d'etats -- and we have Barack Obama and Joe Biden as our President- and Vice President-elect. I pray they and their families will be safe and free from any harm.
