Can I get a general reading advice?

  • I can I get a general reading about my life in general?

I feel like I have no idea what I am doing and I’m stressed. I have no idea what I’m doing. -_- career, education, getting my own place. Just getting some form or control/autonomy.

    Dob 05/27/1994.

    Thanks in advance.

  • 2021 for you is a new beginning, a whole new chapter of your life. And you will need to approach it this way. Put old ways, attitudes and past failures or disappointments behind you now and start afresh with a clean slate. The year ahead will challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, and new opportunities - particularly related to career, social life, and creativity - will emerge. You may at times feel called to stand on your own this year, and your creativity and inventiveness will be at their peak. You will need to revise your current job or study course and decide if it makes you happy or whether it needs some improvement or even a complete change. The same goes for your personal life - now is the time to find new, more compatible companions. It can be a somewhat lonely year with the feeling that a lot rests on your shoulders and only you can get it done - without help from others. And that’s true. Yet remember, there’s a difference between solitary pursuits based in healthy independence and being alone. Independence is your mantra. But you must believe you can succeed and begin over this year, no matter what the last few years have been like. 2021 is going to be devoted to achievement in the material world and reaching your goals through organization, creativity, and endurance. Get ready for a high-intensity year. Watch, however, for impulsiveness and rash emotionally-driven decision making in 2021. Don’t waste it with frivolous activities or useless relationships. This is a year of action and a time to follow opportunities that will come your way. You will likely feel a sense of renewed energy at this time. It is OK to be a little selfish and self-involved in 2021. Take some time for introspection and self-discovery, as it will add to your clarity and sense of direction. This is definitely a time to have courage, make plans, and avoid indecision. It is a time of work, as you are laying new foundations, and opening up to new opportunities. Avoid being impulsive or headstrong as I said, yet be willing to change for the sake of your own personal progress and happiness. This is an auspicious time to begin new relationships and make new connections for personal or business reasons.

This is a year for you of initiation and potential achievement. It holds more unambiguity than last year and is the start of a new cycle for you. It’s time to plant the seeds for what you want to see grow and mature during the next few years. The seeds you plant in 2021, you will reap later. Others might find you less sociable, as you will be busier than ever and you will tend to focus on your own activities and your needs. Yet you will still be outgoing and your initiative will be stronger than ever now. This is the year to begin with as much of a clean slate as you possibly can. If any unfinished business is left over from the transitional last year, those “loose ends” will need to be concluded before you can fully engage in the magic of the initiating energy of the year. You’ll be challenged with stepping into your individuality and fully manifesting your independence. The more you can connect with the unique off-the-beaten path aspects of yourself, the more successful you’ll be. Know there will be failures, yet the year’s designed to teach you some accelerated lessons in self-esteem, trusting yourself, and trusting your creativity. 2021 can be a career-driven time where you’ll be challenged to make substantial advances in this arena of your life. It is a rather hard-driving time where you’ll be working intensely on getting all your little ducks in a row and following up with action, action, and more action. Though this is a time when relationships can flourish, still they will often take a back seat to other matters - particularly career advancement. The theme for you and relationships resides in finding your sense of independence and individuality within your relationships in a balanced and healthy way. It’s a year where you’ll be met with opportunities to define and create your independence on all levels - when you’ll be tested with relationships that are enmeshed, co-dependent or where you are the “enabler” or the “enablee.” You’ll benefit from the initiating energy of the year when you focus with clarity on longer-range goals, while also being nimble enough to take some calculated risks and tap into your pioneering spirit.

So then 2021 is a time for new beginnings, and you may see this reflected in any or every area of your life; getting a new haircut or makeover, receiving an exciting new job offer or promotion, starting a new relationship, taking on new commitments, a new home or a brand-new health regime – anything is possible. Perhaps the benevolent Universe will offer you a complete change of life, with the chance to walk down a new path, or purposefully head off in a different direction. This year your attitude towards life can radically shift so that everything appears new and fresh. In 2021, you may feel inexplicably excited. This is because a whole new cycle lies ahead and you are right at the beginning of it. In order to make the most of these new opportunities, there might be a period of decay where situations seem to break down and get worse for a while; this is a ‘healing crisis’ where all the muck needs to come out in order to cleanse and clear, so you can be left glowing and healthier. Endurance is needed. Perhaps you may also experience a temporary loss of direction, as your subconscious is processing where and what you need to do next. During this period, you may feel particularly influenced to follow others in their direction, particularly if they are strong characters, but be very honest with yourself about your needs before you take any action. For example, perhaps your partner wants you both to move house immediately, but you don’t, so you need to speak up and, if appropriate, arrive at a happy compromise. There is a saying, ‘whoever dares wins’, and this year putting yourself out there and getting more deeply involved with life can be both fruitful and fulfilling. Complacency may set in if you set unrealistic goals which, like New Year’s resolutions, suddenly fly out of the window with the first breeze. A positive mind will help you glide through any challenges that stop you attaining your goals, and it will probably be only you who creates major obstacles in the way of your success during this year. As mentioned, 2021 will see you working with issues around your independence; whether this is financial or material, or wanting emotional detachment, you will find out. Perhaps you are too fiercely independent already and need to learn to reach out and join in with a partner, family or friends. Or perhaps you need to become less dependent on other people for approval or help or love. The year is asking you to step forward on your own and for yourself, so that you can grow stronger and be strong for others. There may be issues around self-worth this year, and embarking upon a personal development course, consulting a life coach or reading self-help books can give you some guidance about how to resolve these issues. It’s a great time for intellectual development, and you may also be drawn to discover more about matters of the mind and soul. Best advice - stand alone, take action, start fresh, and express your individuality. This isn’t the year to dilly-dally or make half-baked decisions. You’ll be best served by getting clear about what you want and making decisive moves toward manifesting those desires. Next year will be an ‘us’ year as opposed to this year of ‘just you’. 2022 will focus on relationships of all kinds.

So welcome to the first clean page to the first chapter of the newest book you’re working on (and you didn’t even know you were an author, did you!?) This is the next year in your life series. What’s the genre going to be? Are you ready to dive in or are you still ruminating on some unfinished ‘chapters’ of the book you’ve already completed, edited, published, and reviewed? Of course, you can’t write the ‘word-for-word’ script for the next few years - and even if you could, how boring would that be? It’s best to be open to detours, other opportunities, and happy surprises. Yet you are being asked to open that new writeable file on your computer, get out your voice notes, or haul out the pen and notebook to begin putting your new story into words and action. Be mindful of what you focus your energy and attention on, because you’re setting up the growth process for a new phase. And honestly, the importance of mindfully setting the groundwork for the next few years can’t be underestimated. If there’s ever a time to take yourself and your intentions seriously, it’s now.

    Benefits of the year:
You’ll feel as though a weight has been lifted from you this year after the intensity of last year.
You’ll feel a new sense of clarity about the direction you want to take in your life.
You’ll have renewed energy to move forward.
You’ll have the opportunity to tap into your unique vision for your future.
You’ll feel as though you have a fresh start in your life.

    Potential Challenges of the year:
Be aware that you’ll feel as though whatever you’re doing, you have to do it all by yourself. There may be a feeling of isolation and of having to “go it alone.” This is part of the energy of the year. It’s an opportunity to develop mastery over how you’re building and creating the next segment of your life.
Protect yourself from low self-esteem by renewing your skill set and reminding yourself of your successes and the different ways you’ve continuously overcome adversity.
Be prepared to default into a confrontational mode so that when you do, you recognize it and move past it quickly. You’re being asked to define your identity and follow a unique vision; therefore you’ll encounter many tests involving strength and courage.

The Question you must ask yourself in 2021: “What do I want to see grow and blossom in the next few years or even a decade from now?” This is the time to define and act upon your goals and make the changes you need to make in order to create a vibrant and new chapter in your life.

Thanks for reminding me of my 2021 reading, but I need something more personal right now. I really don’t know what to do. I just feel lost. I need concrete advice for the moment.

  • @Bluangel27, strong self-belief draws success and opportunities; if your self-belief is lacking, this may be because you have chosen a career not aligned to your talents or a lifestyle that doesn't satisfy you. Fortunately, there will be several pivotal moments in your life which will offer you opportunities to rethink things; they will occur around age 25, age 30, age 40 and age 55. Although your greatest wish is likely to serve humanity, in the interests of your self-development, you should take advantage of these opportunities to re-examine your motivations and strategies. You have the skills and personality to excel in the medical, teaching, legal, or diplomatic professions as well as the artistic or sporting realms in which you can express yourself more freely. Yours is a sensitive, highly artistic pattern - you can work with and be inspired by beauty and nature, and can find emotional healing and connection through music. You can display great ability to express yourself through art, acting, music, poetry, dancing, photography, fashion or interior design, and any other form of creative expression, including teaching. Designing or creating a serene home or work environment is one form of healing you can provide; also, you can bring beauty into your surroundings through comfortable and lovely household settings. You can help inspire and uplift others. But you may change careers a number of times over your lifetime. Still, whatever you eventually settle on, the opportunity to guide and care for others in some way will be essential for your fulfillment.

Rather than being called on to learn a whole new set of skills, you must learn how to use your own gifts more consciously and capitalize on them to achieve your goals. To earn the societal success you secretly yearn for, you must temper the pull of your own desire for freedom, a desire that frequently can get you into hot water. Too often, you may behave like a teenager when you should be working on being an adult. It is only when you choose to grow ¬up that you can utilize your naturally vibrant, imaginative, and charming personality to be a source of inspiration to others. Learning to be more grounded and content in who you are, without losing your spontaneity and natural appeal, is your life challenge. Born with a certain sense of insecurity and a great fear that others will quash your natural enthusiasm, you are extremely sensitive to criticism. Rarely will you listen to what others have to say for fear that it will somehow control you. But, if you can recognize and admit to your very real need for achievement and recognition, and realize that your natural wildness is only hurting you, you can begin to impose some limitations on yourself. Ultimately, you will be happier for it. Once you are more comfortable with who you are, you will succeed in attracting many friends, associates, and acquaintances and, before long, you will find yourself amid a circle of admirers who respect your views and trust your judgment. Gifted with a sixth sense, or outright psychic ability, you can often anticipate the wishes or concerns of others and, being naturally sympathetic to your fellow humans, you will want to fulfill them. You will not simply be popular, though, but will become a bit 'larger than life' in order to spread your example to a fairly large circle. Learning to be more centred and measured in your responses is crucial for you, since any sort of erratic behaviour will certainly put others off. Moreover, personal integrity is of the utmost importance. One moral misstep on your part could result in an irreparable loss of faith from your fellow human beings.

You are meant to evolve into an impassioned, empowered individual this lifetime. There is a higher self within you that understands and embraces the depths of life. You will realize your greatest potential when you can make life something that gets your heart pounding and your blood racing. For you, things are supposed to be a bit risky, slightly dangerous, allowing you to teeter right on the edge. It might not make sense but embracing a bit of that danger is what you’re made for. What your soul really wants is to engage in a high-wire act, with not much of a net underneath. It’s through this approach that you will embrace the emotional power that you have within.

But what could stand in the way of this life-changing intensity? Well, it is all too easy for you to get stuck in your ways. Your comfort zone can be so comfortable that you just don’t want to leave it. In fact, it might not make any sense at all to leave it. Yet, your natural common sense can be much less effective when you dig in your heels and refuse to budge. Your worst habits come from being stubborn for the sake of being stubborn, unable to go with the flow of the inevitable changes of life. Therefore, you might feel like you’re being totally practical by sticking to your routines, clinging to your possessions, or insisting on your values. But little do you know that these things have gone past their expiration date and being unable to do away with them will only hurt you, in the end. In your younger days, you may have experienced a ton of comfort, ease, and luxury. In this former life, you could just kick back and relax. There was a lot of simplicity and groundedness to this lifestyle. Security and stability were easily come by - all you needed was plenty of money, good food, nice things, and the people you loved to be happy. Maybe you were born into money and just never had to worry about it. But this created an attitude of greed and materialism that racked up some negative karma.

Or maybe you weren’t born into money. Instead, you developed a desire to find the determination needed to establish a very self-made wealth for yourself. But like the spoiled and self-indulgent type, you may have developed a really greedy attitude toward money, probably because you never had it before. You are far from a complicated person. But this may end up shooting you in the foot after a while. You may be so naive or unsophisticated that you are unable to handle the complexities of life, of yourself, or of other people. Anything that is too intense, dramatic, or chaotic may be resisted by you. You can be so insistent on things being peaceful and stable that the slightest disturbance could feel like unwelcome drama. Due to your inability to put yourself through these emotional fires, you might never really grow as a person. You may remain very stagnant on a psychological level. Since you are so practical, you may not see the reason why you should have to change your ways. You may equate happiness with the things that you own. So, as long as you have financial and material security, why complain? But this will keep you in a very superficial mindset, unable to understand the deeper elements that are at play in your psyche, in your relationships, and in life in general. It can be easy for you to fall into a routine and remain trapped within it. Change is a very terrifying concept for you. But it is what you desperately need to help you move forward and grow as a person. You will then realize your greater potential by being able to investigate and understand yourself. Through change, you will earn a lot of valuable emotional resources. That’s what this lifetime for you is about: inner resources, not outer money, possessions or sex. And these inner resources will be needed to get you through tough times, to help you overcome your issues, and to transform yourself in amazing ways.

I believe I am in the right profession. I want to be a doctor. I’m just worried and stressed studying for the MCAT. It’s a month away I don’t feel ready. Wanting to be a doctor is all I ever wanted to be all my life. I just don’t know if I’m going about it correctly. Covid is not helping because of no in person shadowing. Blah..
I went through so much education and medical wise to get to this point. I don’t want to be anything else as bad as I want a doctor. I tried another career path. It didn’t compare to being a doctor. I didn’t get to do teenage stuff when I was a teenager, I was focused on grades and getting into a great college. I didn’t get to have much of a social life in college because I was trying to do well. I also had to deal with disability causing problems with my health that affected my grades. I never really had much of a social life period. I’ve been through a lot in live. I want to get my career started, I want to actually have a career, live on my own, support myself. Have a salary. My birthday is next month and I will be 27 and 27 is one of my favorite numbers I don’t even feel excited about it. I thought I be farther on in life than this. I feel like I don’t have anything to show for it. I’m just venting. I’m stressed because I don’t know how all of this going to work. I feel like I have no help or no one understands me.

  • @Bluangel27 when life is throwing many obstacles into your way to a goal, you need to reconsider if your plan is a feasible one or whether it is still the appropriate goal; for you at this point in your life. You could be behaving in such a single-minded or rigid way that you are not seeing clearly. Perhaps the universe is suggesting that your reasons for wanting to become a doctor are not the only way to achieve what you need from life. You may need to revise your life purpose or dreams.

  • No, that's my life purpose. I'm sure. I don't want to be anything else. I want to be in the medical field, and I want to be a doctor, not a nurse or a lab tech, or anything else. I tried other versions of doctors that aren't medical. I want to be a medical doctor. Literally makes no sense to be brought this far with all this education to change it now. I just need some advice of how to migrate through this with Covid going around. If covid wasn't around, I wouldn't have all these obstacles like everyone else trying to get into med school now during covid. We all are struggling. I might have to with held the application another year, I don't think I'm prepared enough for the exam next month. I need to talk to my advisor.

Medical doctor is it. Nothing else makes happy. I don't like teaching, involved with applied behavioral therapy working with children with autism, or adults didn't do anything for me either. I liked working in lab doing behavioral animal testing, but still wanted to be a medical doctor. That's why I went back to school and built up of my GPA and took classes I didn't take in undergrad.

A doctor is where I wanna be. It's going to happen. I just trying to navigate that with covid like everyone else in my position, thought I get some spiritual advice about it, since I am both a woman of science, but I know spirit too.
