    Here are some ideas ...

Purchase your own first deck- the Tarot deck can be Rider Waite Smith or something similar in imagery to begin with.. ( this is a great Tarot system to begin with ) There is actually no right or wrong deck that you first begin to connect with as you learn Tarot .. The perfect deck is perfect for you on a personal level ... Find a deck you love the imagery of.
Check out the site here as you can see some decks where you can see all the cards....

Once you have decided in the type of deck you want to purchase - You can purchase from a Specialist Store, a Book Store or online - try the many online stores - Amazon, Book Depository, Etsy, Make Playing Cards or try Some of the personal websites of Indie creators.

When you receive your First tarot deck, also purchase a Journal, a diary, Notebook- something you can write everything related to Tarot in .
Write the date , the name of the deck and let's begin the journey ..

There are many ways to learn Tarot and it is important to find what works for you. On the site you will find a variety of meanings for each card ...

Otherways to learn to tarot, YouTube Vids, different Blogs and sites, Books .. There are a huge amount of Tarot books available including the LWB or Guidebook that comes with the deck. Write down Sources that resonate. Try to keep to 3-4 Words per card to begin with .. then expand as you work with the deck.

One way to learn your deck is by choosing one card a day to begin with and write down your own thoughts about the card plus the card meanings from the source you decide to use. Looking at what resonates.

Another idea is to start with the Major Arcana and starting with the Fool- reflect and meditate on that one card ... writing down everything you feel is important in relation to the card.

These are a few tips I can share at this time to get you started with learning Tarot .... Don't forget this Site has some great information re Tarot ...

  • Learning tarot can seem quite stressful and overwhelming..
it is important to break it down to small bite size of information... to work slowly through the exercises, if you are reading a book on Tarot.
Do not hurry, rush through the keywords , symbols,, colours, etc of each card...
make sure you create quality time for self,, it is not about the quantity but the quality of your learning....

    Journal everything Tarot related ..

Make sure you keep it light and not too heavy and overwhelming
