Captian Quick Question
-
Hi Cap,
Have a quick question for you that's kind of important. Decided to make the jump to the airlines. I have to get a waiver from a special ophthalmologist and i think I'll be okay with it. do you see any issue with it or any penalty issue with the FAA? they lost part of my old medical file and that can cause an issue. I'm excited to finally live life and move on. Thanks!!!

Can you get your old medical file from anyone else?
-
No, it's long gone. Been over 25 years but working with doctor who deals with these issues and thinks it'll be only a warning since it's partly their error. just want to be sure it's not gonna
hurt my chances for airline. see anything from your end?
-
No I don't feel it will hurt your chances.

Good to hear. I found an eye specialist to do the exam and hopefully write reports if needed. If all goes well I just take a simple flight test to be sure I can see.then I get my waiver. I feel the time is right. does the universe agree and will it be granted? I'm trying to trust my intuition and it's been a long road. thanks!!!!!

Good for you!
