It's my birthday

After a horrible 2013, suffering with chronic depression, I turned 32 today. Can you give me any insights into what I can expect from 2014.

Get ready for a dramatic and exciting year! For you, 2014 will feel like it is flying by because there will be so many changes and activities. After all the hard work of last year, this is a fantastic time to have fun and meet new people, or travel to distant places. You may even feel the urge to relocate. You will find your social life expanding as you feel more expansive as well. If there are any structures in your life that restrict you, now is the time to shake them off and seek new horizons. At some point this year, perhaps from the very beginning, you will feel a deep need - a powerful urge - for more freedom and spontaneity in your life. And, if you want to be free, you must start living more freely! Get away from old routines and do things differently. Look for those new directions. Do not scatter your attention or spread yourself too thin, otherwise you may find yourself jumping from one thing to another without accomplishing anything. Your curiosity can lead to success or to disappointment, so make sure you focus on what matters! This is a wonderful time to have an adventure so if there is anywhere you want to go, buy your ticket! Take that class you always wanted to take, or go to the theater, or even be in the theater! If you want to take up a new hobby, being in a group environment would be especially rewarding. If you are involved in the media in any way, or have always wanted to be, you’ll feel extra blessed this year. If you want to grow your business, any type of advertising would prove worthwhile. See things as they really are this year. One person's reality is not the same as another's. Honesty is essential in 2014 because freedom cannot flow outside of reality. Start by being honest with yourself and you will see that honesty has nothing to do with laws, rules and regulations. It has to do with straightforwardness, truth, and self-acceptance. Head games and manipulation will backfire on you. Try to be genuine at all times. Your horizons will be much broader now. If you set out confidently, with a specific goal in mind, you will be able to relax and enjoy these action-packed episodes. Set your sights high and experience the reality of change, variety, adventure, opportunity and, above all, your own precious Free Will. Make sure that with all of these changes and new feelings that you don't scatter your energies. Listen to your heart to discern what is most important and make your decisions based on your intuitive guidance. You might make mistakes, but that is how you learn, and those lessons will serve you and help you to instruct others in the future.
CIB, your greatest challenge in life is knowing how to cope with anger or disappointment. Understand that painful feelings are only released when they are faced. The only real way out is through. Unwavering self-belief when the going gets tough will generate the ability and enthusiasm you need to succeed.
Progression is your key word for 2014, and indeed for your whole life. You never stand still, always moving forward, whatever your circumstances or start in life. Your ability to overcome obstacles and make even the most difficult of transitions or tasks seem easy gives you a natural charisma. Those who make life seem easy are universally favored, and you not only have the ability to succeed; you also have the ability to keep your cool when all around are losing theirs. When setbacks occur, pick yourself up, learn from your mistakes and do all it takes to reach your goals; and reach them you will. You should have no problems leaving your past behind you. You understand the importance of letting go in order to progress and move beyond limitations. You particularly enjoy initiating new projects and ideas, and work steadily and in a disciplined way until you have attained what you desire. Although your imagination and intelligence gives you the potential to succeed in many areas, the arena of social and humanitarian reform has particular appeal for you. Of course you feel depression, disappointment, and disillusionment at times - you are human like everyone else - but around the mid to late thirties of age, you will discover the importance of making your mind work for rather than against yourself.
It’s impossible for you to hold back in any way and you cannot see the point of doing anything unless one hundred per cent of your attention and energy is given. If others are not committed or are lazy or not paying attention, you will let them know. You will progress faster if you can understand that not everyone has the same drive or need for achievement as you have, and that sometimes the price for having high ideals means that you have to stand alone. By taking time out to relax, you can discover whether you have being pushing yourself too hard or have become too detached from the world you are so committed to improving. You tend to learn early in life that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. However you need to take care that you do not become too obsessive, and worry about your health to the extent that every ache and pain has meaning. Exercise is important to keep you flexible and toned but again you need to take care that you do not overwork yourself in a quest for physical perfection. Spending more time in nature, reading, meditating, or surrounding yourself with shades of green should help keep you grounded and disciplined, but also flexible enough to change course if it becomes necessary.
Your life path is to rise above adversity and help others do the same, passing on what you have learnt from your own experiences with the highs and lows of life. Once you have found the courage to stand alone and have learned to respect the differences as well as the similarities in others, your destiny is to make the world a more harmonious place by bringing people together and settling disputes.
