Craft Challenge: Light Up Your Leo Pride
-
Enter the Leo Craft Challenge Here!
Just hit the "Reply" button to post a pic of your craft, and you'll be entered in the contest.
It's time to shine your light! To celebrate the Sun moving into fiery Leo, we challenge you to let your inner glow shine in our new Craft Challenge.
The Challenge? To give new life to a lamp or light fixture by decorating its base, making a new lampshade or recycling old or found materials to create a new light fixture.
Starting on July 25 and lasting until August 18, you'll be able to post a pic of your homemade craft, right here in this topic. Post the pic, tell us about how you made it, and let us know how it shows your inner Leo. Don't be afraid to be original ... Leo is about boldly expressing your authentic self, so dig deep to find your personal creativity.
Polling will happen from August 18 to August 21, with live results displayed in the Forums. The winner will be announced on August 22, when the Sun enters Virgo.

My daughter went out of town and we refaced her entire bedroom...she loves playboy...I took each fan blade and my three other kids painted one black with pink polka dots and I paint the other three with her name and in pink...it came out so nice! I have a photo of it up as well but thought you would appreciate the individual blades...
She was so very surprised!!

Here is the rest....

I went the way of the candle lite for my Leo craft. It's soft light puts me a relaxed state of being, that allows my mind to quiet. Allowing for my creative side to be heard.

This parasol is a present I was given years ago. I love the wave pattern on it but never use a parasol so it was just put away to gather dust. It makes a lovely lightshade and rotates gently in the slightest breeze.

Hello Everyone,
I'm new to this forum. Hopefully I can upload my photo...lol
If it works, this is a photo of my shrine & homage to the triple goddess.
It is made from old christmas tree lights, wood, stones , feathers that iv'e found on many walks.
Also a sculpture that iv'e made of the Mother Goddess, she has a candle inside her belly.

Hello, everyone......new here as well!
I used a picture I tool of myself........The face painting was also painted by me on my own face. After printing the pic on photo paper I cut and stuck it into a glass wine decanter which I placed on top of a old simple candle plate type thingy.I then placed clear glass beeds inside & outside the bottle and placed 5 tea candles around it all.
I will try and send along the pic (3 diff. views) of my "Egyptian Sun Goddess" the name I gave her when I first created her.
Ok here goes!
