Spirit guides exist?

hmmm. i just want to know how one can contact their spirit guides. i think i had a dream last night that seemed a bit surreal. and i have been trying to become more spiritually aware & in tune these last couple of months. i feel progress but not something that i can say for sure.
anyone care to offer any tips or maybe help me communicate with my spirit guides? i want to know their names as well.
